Biography
I’m a dedicated and dynamic professional with a strong background in aquatics, coaching, and special education. As a former Division I athlete at Arizona State University, where I competed in Pac-10 water polo and competitive swimming, I bring discipline, teamwork, and resilience to everything I do.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals ranging from age one through adulthood, focusing on skill development, safety, confidence, and personal growth. I coach age-group water polo and run a successful swim instruction and water-safety company, where I combine technical expertise with a warm, approachable teaching style. Whether I’m helping a young athlete refine their skills or teaching a beginner how to feel safe in the water, I value patience, clear communication, and meeting each person where they are.
In addition to my work in aquatics, I’m deeply committed to special education. I support students with diverse needs by creating inclusive environments that prioritize respect, understanding, and individualized learning. My experience in this field has strengthened my ability to adapt, listen closely, and connect meaningfully with others.
I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree, and I’m known for being hardworking, trustworthy, and easy to talk to. The challenges and experiences I’ve navigated—both in and out of the pool—have shaped me into a grounded, empathetic leader. I value authenticity and strive to create spaces where people feel supported, capable, and empowered.
I thrive in active, collaborative environments where I can bring positive energy and a strong work ethic to a shared goal. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, traveling, being around animals, and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. Most of all, I value meaningful relationships and enjoy spending quality time with friends and family.
