After graduating from college in 1976, I developed a simple disciplined approach to budgeting and investing. The results were, on a single income, my family never incurred any credit card debt, never borrowed money to purchase a car after 1986, quickly paid off our only mortgage, and we are now enjoying a very carefree retirement. I have been providing financial counseling for my local community and church for years. Engineer by trade but financial steward through discipline.
